The online "bible" of Monegasque law will change

The State has undertaken an overhaul of the Légimonaco website, launched in 2008. A first version should be delivered at the end of 2022.

This refreshment is welcome. The Légimonaco website, "the public interface for the dissemination of Monegasque law", went online nearly fifteen years ago and has since had a long life. Thus, as Pierre Dartout, Minister of State, reminds us, "thanks to the necessary credits voted by the National Council" a complete overhaul has been launched.

The company LexisNexis France was chosen after consultation to design and produce the website of tomorrow. This company is a leader in legal publishing and will be working with Sword, an IT specialist with experience in designing government legal websites. "It is essential to make the law accessible to everyone because it naturally governs our daily lives.

The government intends to offer a state-of-the-art digital tool that will feature a high-performance search engine, new content and enhanced functionalities compared to the current version, in order to better meet the needs of legal professionals and the general public alike," said Pierre Dartout.
